SnoozeLens ("we", "our", or "us") is a sleep tracking and snore detection application developed by Coding Empire. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our Android application.

By using SnoozeLens, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

1. Audio Recordings

SnoozeLens records audio during your sleep sessions to detect snoring patterns. All audio recordings are stored locally on your device only. We do not upload, transmit, or share your audio data with any server or third party.

2. Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address via Firebase Authentication (Google Sign-In or email/password). This information is used solely to identify your account and sync your settings.

3. Usage & Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage data such as screen views and feature interactions. This data helps us improve the app experience and does not personally identify you.

4. Subscription & Purchase Data

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat may collect anonymized purchase events. We do not store your payment card information.

5. Crash Reports

Firebase Crashlytics automatically collects crash reports when the app experiences an error. These reports include device type, OS version, and stack traces — no personally identifiable information is included.

6. Advertising Data

Free-tier users may see ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device advertising IDs to serve personalized ads. Pro/subscribed users do not see ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.

Permissions We Request

• RECORD_AUDIO – Required to detect and record snoring sounds during sleep sessions.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS – To send reminders and scheduled recording alerts.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE – To keep audio recording active while the screen is off.
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM – To start recordings at your scheduled sleep time.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED – To restore scheduled recordings after a device restart.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide snore detection and sleep analysis features
• To manage your user account and authentication
• To process and validate your subscription status
• To improve app stability and fix crashes
• To display relevant advertisements to free-tier users
• To send you scheduled recording notifications

Data Storage & Security

Audio recordings are stored exclusively on your device's local storage. We never upload your recordings to our servers.

Account data is secured by Firebase's industry-standard encryption. We implement appropriate technical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access or disclosure.

You can delete your local recordings at any time from within the app. You may also delete your account by contacting us at the email below.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase – Authentication, analytics, and crash reporting
• RevenueCat – Subscription management
• Google AdMob – Advertising (free tier only)
• Google Play Billing – Payment processing

Children's Privacy

SnoozeLens is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Your Rights

• Access – You can view your account data within the app
• Deletion – You can delete your recordings locally or request full account deletion
• Opt-out – You can opt out of personalized ads via device settings

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
